Meet Sandra - Your Coach and Founder of The SMASH Way

Back in 2013, I was a busy mum of three, clinically obese, exhausted, and constantly unwell and living in pain. I had tried everything: exercise regimes, eating plans, therapies, but nothing worked long-term.

With my 40th birthday looming, I dreaded being “Fat and frumpy at 40” and felt I’d have to accept being overweight forever.

Then, I discovered the power of real food and broke my sugar addiction.

Within the 19 weeks, I lost 41 pounds and 19 inches, without exercise. 

Even better? My asthma disappeared, my joints stopped aching, my migraines vanished, and I felt 20 years younger.

I was terrified about regaining the weight, but here’s the thing: I didn’t, because, for the very first time, I understood how to work with my body, not against it.

These days I live by a sustainable 90/10 rule, balancing health with flexibility. I have glowing skin, endless energy, better sleep, and confidence that I did not think was possible at this stage in my life. 

And now, with several nutrition qualifications, I’m here to help you feel just as amazing - without all the confusion and overwhelm.

I’m not convinced The SMASH Way will work for me. How much weight will I actually lose?

I hear you! Those other quick fixes and fads have failed you. But The SMASH Way will show you why all those diets didn’t work. 

The average woman can lose between 10-14 pounds in her first 28 days. Everyone's results are unique, of course, but, don’t worry, you’ll get loads of support to reach your goals. 

I’m guessing this is just for women, right?

Well, yes and no. The SMASH Way is suitable for everyone (it’s based on healthy, sustainable habits, after all), but The SMASH Community is only for women. 

It’s a safe space for you to ask questions and feel supported.

I’m vegan/vegetarian. Is The SMASH Way right for me? 

Right now, The SMASH Way meals are animal protein-based, but don’t worry, they can be easily adapted to suit a vegetarian or vegan diet. 

In fact, we’ve had vegetarians and vegans follow The SMASH Way and achieve great results.

I don’t have time for lots of cooking. Can I still do this?

You don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen. (Who does?!) Good news: Inside The SMASH Way you’ll learn how to meal prep 3-4 days worth of food in 45 minutes. 

Yep, you’ll be eating well AND saving time. A win-win. 

Will I have to do a tonne of exercise to get to my goal weight?

This might surprise you, but exercise is the final piece of The SMASH Way health jigsaw. 

You’ll introduce exercise after a few weeks of The SMASH Way programme when you have so much energy you don’t know what to do with it. 

For now though, if you are doing a 10-minute walk each day, that’s enough.

I noticed you don’t share before and after photos. Why is that?

Before and after pictures can be inspiring, I get it! But they don’t tell the whole story. And, if you ask me, it’s time we stop using them to determine our success. 

I want you to focus on your health and how well you feel instead.

How long will I have access to The SMASH Way?

The SMASH Way isn’t going anywhere. Once you sign up you have access to your documents and The SMASH Community for life. Living a healthy lifestyle is for life, and you will get on going support as a SMASH Way Member.
