It's a Way of Life; it's not a Diet
When women are ready to change their lives long term, SMASH Worldwide is here for them. Living life The SMASH Way is all about embracing a new way of life. It is not about dieting for a certain number of weeks and then going back to your old ways of eating, it is about finding out about your body and understanding what you need to do to support it. I love it when someone comes a long and embraces everything about SMASH. They listen and they learn, and then act accordingly.
When this happens, lives are changed. The best thing about this is that not only is it the mum of the house who's life changes for the better, but also her children's lives too. This is the case with this lovely lady. Her family have fallen in love with so many of the SMASH Way recipes and they are all benefiting - so too are dinner guest when they come over as well.
What made you choose SMASH, over other programmes that are on the market at the moment?
Many years ago, a friend of mine recommended SMASH, and it was my first time trying anything new.
SMASH is a way of life rather than a diet, and within it, there is constant learning, thankfully for Sandra; no questions are off limits, and support is always there. I am not sure if there are many groups like SMASH.
At that time, I wanted to lose some weight after my pregnancies.
How would you describe your life prior to living life The SMASH Way?
Unaware of many things, willing to get healthier but I did not have enough knowledge to do so. There are so many plans available these days, and it can all be so confusing. I just didn't know what to do, but I knew I wanted to feel differently about me. Also back then, as my BMI was normal and I had no health issues, I would say I was living a healthy life is within reason.
I had friends attending Weight Watchers and similar plans, and it didn't make sense to me, so I knew that wasn't the route I wanted to go down.
Also, those groups are very public; The SMASH Community is for us and a very safe place, and this suits me as I am a private person.
How would you describe living life The SMASH Way?
It is a way of life; it is not a diet. Eating healthy does not have to be boring, just gorgeous recipes that my whole family enjoy. There is constant learning going on, and I learn all the time which I love
It is beyond great, and it is an eye-opener, and I always learn from Sandra, whether about the bottles for olive oil or anything else. Words cannot describe it, and it should be "experienced," and the same goes for the support available and also the weekly chats.
What weight loss/body stat results have you got by living life The SMASH Way?
I am not great at measurements and was never a fan of them. I simply go by how my clothes on me. I am 59kg and my height is 175CM and I am a size small.
I think my heaviest was 64kg or 66kg.
What has improved in your life from living life The SMASH Way?
I suffered no menopause issues at all, and going by family history etc., I should have have a terrible time. I have sailed through my perimenopause years without any symptoms, whilst friends my age around me are all suffering. I can only credit SMASH, as I have no other explanation
What are your favourite things about SMASH?
There is variety, food isn't boring, and there's lots of choice for everyone.
The plan works and makes sense, and when you are on this plan, if you end up having something not SMASH, you don't feel guilty, but your body tells you, I prefer not to have this again. I have been taught how to listen to my body and understand the signals that it gives me. I love that I am so in tune with me now.
What are your favourite SMASH Meals?
SMASH Chilli and Beef steak. For snacks, it would always be SMASH Protein Bars.
Did you use any SMASH Supplements on your journey to help you along the way? If so, what were they?
I used Blitz and Balanze to help with fat loss, and also Sandra's other advice which helped my sleep and also stress levels.
And also the skin powder, as I call it, (Col Boozt) is wonderful. I am always cold in the winter and heating up in the house, car, or office. I have been using this collagen for a while now, and I feel my skin is not as dry as it normally would be in the winter.
What advice would you give anyone considering trying to lose weight or regain their health?
Have a chat with Sandra; read the information; there is nothing to lose but a lot to gain. Learn about and learn about your body.
The food industry is not telling us the truth all the time, and some of the healthy foods on the shelf could be the worst ones.
What advice would you give to someone thinking of starting living life The SMASH Way?
I don't think you would look back, try it, give it time. And in time, you will see it makes sense; learn about labels, food, ideas, and avail of support.
Not all things 0% fat or calories are good, and we have an amazing educator like Sandra, who is passionate and dedicated.
Life isn't all about losing weight; it's also about learning and being healthy. Try it, and what have you got to lose?

Absolutely agree with every word this lady says. I am doing SMASH now for just under a year, it’s not a diet, it’s a new, much better, more informed way of eating, with great results for weight loss, having more energy and sleeping much better. I will be continuing to live the SMASH way, it’s a no brainer.
